Creamsicle

Abandoned senior kitty (who could even think of doing such a thing?) was found wondering around outside with no home.  A good Samaritan picked up this cat and turned him over to FURR.  Our Finance Director of FURR, Mari Christensen, has very kindly offered to foster this beautiful elderly cat since the FURR kitty lodge is busting at the seams with kitties!  This rescued senior, we named Creamsicle, is literally skin covering bones; but, in time he will be much better with some nutrition, food, shelter and much needed LOVE!  Creamsicle is an older cat (not really sure exact age), but he is a BEAUTIFUL long-haired orange and white neutered male.  We have had him combo tested (negative) and have given him all of his shots.  He has been treated for fleas, ticks, worms, etc., and has actually had to have a "shave" job on his fur due to all the horrible mats he had!  This poor kitty is in desperate need of some dental work and some senior blood work so that we can make sure everything else is working properly!!!  We have gotten estimates of what is needed to make sure this kitty is in TOP working order so that he can be ready for his FOREVER home!  Creamsicle has many WONDERFUL great years left to bring joy to some family lucky enough to be adopted by him!!!  PLEASE help us help Creamsicle!  If everyone could donate a little bit to FURR on behalf of Creamsicle, we could probably raise enough money to get him that vet appointment he is so patiently waiting for!  Thank you so much from all the Directors and Volunteers @ FURR!!!

Update on Creamsicle - It is with a sad heart that FURR has lost Creamsicle. He died in his sleep and hope that it was quick and painless. His foster mom said that he was eating 3 cans of food a day and still couldn't gain any weight. We never could find the money to do his blood work or his teeth.
This is the sad part of being a rescuer. Each and everyone of the kitties that crosses our path is special and loved. We mourn for Creamsicle.
